South Division Healthy Sandwich Making Competition

Objective:

To let every guide know how to make a healthy sandwich which is fast and easy. In addition, they can make it their own whenever they are hungry.


South Division Guides


Date:

11th September


Time:

9am – 12.30pm


Venue:

School Kitchen


Attire:

Guides Polo tee/ / School Guides T-shirt


Things to bring:

  • Kitchen apron
  • Table and Dish Cloth
  • Other Ingredients that they need (e.g. lettuce)


Items Provided:

  • Whole meal Bread-4 slices per team, Low Fat Margarine
  • Cooking utensils


Things to note:

  • Ingredients are all to be halal and contain no pork or beef (due to religious reasons). Teams found using the forbidden items will be barred from the competition

  • Judging Criteria:
    • Overall (30 marks)
    • Nutritional value (25 marks)
    • Taste (25 marks)
    • Question & Answer (20%)

  • Judges: To be confirmed on the actual day

Pupils to be able to answer question pertaining to the nutritional value of the dish prepared.



Please form 1 group consisting of 3 Sec 3 guides and 3 Sec 1 guides and give me the names by 8 pm today. The information came late because all the schools had receive the information late. Please do not get the Sec 2 guides because they are involved in the CIP on First Aid Duty.


By participating in this competition, it will also allow us all to gain points for PNA. I have sent messages to the sec 3 handphones, please get back to me asap.
